Variety reported that the production banner was founded by Inevitable Foundation co-founders Richie Siegel and Marisa Torelli-Pedevska, and focuses on commercial film and television stories told through a disability lens. The film comes from writer-director duo Ari Costa and Eren Celeboglu, who co-wrote the script alongside Simmonds as a three-year passion project, according to Deadline.
Plot details remain under wraps, Variety noted, but the project marks a significant step for Inevitable Studios in its mission to center disability narratives in mainstream genre filmmaking. Simmonds, who is deaf, brings both her acting and writing talents to the thriller, expanding her creative role beyond performance.
