Fox Corp's June quarter got a major boost from the FIFA Men's World Cup. Advertising sales jumped 78% in the fiscal fourth quarter, according to Deadline, with TV segment ad sales soaring more than 108%, as Whatfinger reported. Total revenue rose 28% to $4.21 billion, Deadline reported. The company's fiscal 2026 revenue climbed to more than $17.1 billion, aided by World Cup-driven advertising that lifted Q4 ad sales, according to sportsbusinessjournal.com. Beyond the tournament, distribution revenue grew 5% on 7% growth at cable network programming, while digital growth continued, led by AVOD service Tubi. Content and other revenue dipped slightly to $262 million from $269 million due to timing of sports sub-licensing revenue, per Deadline. Net income came in at $696 million, down from $719 million a year earlier, Deadline reported. The company also announced a transformative move last quarter, according to the outlet, though specifics were not detailed in this report. The World Cup effect shows how a single marquee event can reshape quarterly results, even as other parts of the business move in different directions.
