The LA28 Olympics organizing committee has relocated its International Broadcast Center from the originally planned Hollywood Park Studios in Inglewood to the Warner Bros. Ranch lot in Burbank, according to Variety. Whatfinger also reported the change, noting that the Warner Bros. Ranch lot will house the broadcast center.

LA28 Olympics Broadcast Center Shifts to Burbank’s Warner Bros. Ranch for Expanded Capacity

The move comes as organizers prioritize space over proximity to the main Olympic venues. Variety reported that the Burbank location, while farther from the action at SoFi Stadium and other key sites, offers 16 stages and production office space across 30 acres, providing significantly greater capacity for the games' broadcasting operations.

The decision reflects a trade-off between convenience and scale. The original site at Hollywood Park Studios adjacent to SoFi Stadium would have placed broadcasters in the heart of the Olympic cluster, but the Warner Bros. Ranch, with its extensive soundstages and production infrastructure, is better suited to accommodate the massive global media presence required.

Organizers have not disclosed whether the change will affect timelines or budgets for the 2028 Games. Both Variety and Whatfinger highlighted the ranch's ability to host the complex broadcasting needs, suggesting that logistical flexibility remains a key consideration for the LA28 committee.
