The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has completed its draft report investigating allegations of unlawful treatment of disabled benefit claimants by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and its Conservative ministers. The inquiry, launched two years ago under the previous government, examines possible unlawful acts by successive work and pensions secretaries that may have contributed to the deaths of claimants. The DWP has provided its response to the draft report, which is now being finalized.
