Peacock has removed Love Island USA Season 8 contestant Alannah Keyser after racist social media posts from private accounts resurfaced shortly after her appearance as a bombshell during the Casa Amor twist. The removal was announced during the June 25 episode, according to TVLine.

Keyser was seen in a video lip-syncing to a song while using the n-word, and a Snapchat screenshot showed her using the same racial slur, as reported by Deadline. The posts were originally made on private accounts and were not widely shared at the time of her casting.

"Peacock stated they were unaware of these posts prior to casting, as they had not been publicly shared before her appearance."
