Nintendo has rolled out a major update to its Nintendo Music app, adding the complete soundtrack for the Switch 2 title Donkey Kong Bananza. The collection, now available to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, brings 229 tracks totaling more than eight hours of music, according to Nintendo Life. The update follows last week's addition of Mario Kart World melodies, as reported by Nintenderos.
"loaded with a whopping 229 tracks, with a runtime of 8 hours and 36 minutes."
The sheer scale of the Bananza soundtrack makes it one of the largest single-game additions to the app since its launch. Nintendo Life noted that the tracklist covers all of Donkey Kong's transformations in the game, giving players and music fans plenty to explore. Famiboards, a community hub for Nintendo discussion, has already opened a dedicated thread for fans to share their thoughts on the new music, highlighting the continuing growth of the mobile app.
A notable feature included in this update is a spoiler block option, which Nintendo Life says allows players who have not completed Donkey Kong Bananza to avoid hearing tracks tied to story moments or late-game areas. This kind of player-friendly toggle has become a welcome addition for those who want to enjoy the music without ruining surprises.
Nintendo Music remains exclusive to subscribers of the Switch Online service, offering both streaming and offline downloads. With the Bananza soundtrack now live, the library continues to expand, giving subscribers another reason to keep their memberships active. The app, which debuted earlier this year, now hosts soundtracks from several key first-party titles, with Donkey Kong Bananza representing one of the most substantial single updates to date.
