Rush has postponed two more concerts on their Fifty Something reunion tour after lead singer and bassist Geddy Lee was diagnosed with laryngitis and bronchitis, according to multiple reports. The cancellations affect shows scheduled for June 20 and July 2 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, marking the second setback for the tour in recent days.
Rolling Stone reported that the two postponed shows were part of a four-show run at the venue and have been rescheduled to July 11 and July 13, respectively. Doctors advised Lee to rest and recover before returning to the stage, the outlet stated.
Ultimate Classic Rock noted that this is the second time the tour has been disrupted, following earlier postponements. The band had initially announced the Fifty Something tour as a reunion, drawing fans eager to see the classic lineup perform together again.
No further details about Lee's condition or the impact on future tour dates have been released. Rush has not yet commented on whether the remaining scheduled shows will proceed as planned, according to both outlets.
