Team Junkfish has announced that its first-person stealth survival horror game Wilderdark will launch on PC via Steam on November 3, with a demo already available. The game was unveiled during the Convergence showcase, as reported by Gamereactor.

Corrupted dinosaurs stalk players in Wilderdark, launching November 3 on Steam

Set on an unnatural island, Wilderdark features an eerie ectoparasitic organism that corrupts dinosaurs and plant life. According to Gamereactor, the parasite turns the creatures into "something twisted and far more frightening." Players must avoid these corrupted predators while navigating the dangerous environment.

Players assume the role of a scout sent by an organization to investigate the island. Gematsu reported that their mission is to "document the ecosystem, collect samples, and uncover the fate of previous expeditions." This objective adds a layer of scientific exploration to the horror experience.

While Wilderdark arrives in a month packed with major releases, including Grand Theft Auto VI, Gamereactor noted that the title "will now become one of very few challengers to Grand Theft Auto VI in the penultimate month of the year." The game's unique blend of dinosaur stealth and survival horror may carve out its own niche among November's offerings.
