Sega Reveals Playable Gamescom 2026 Lineup Spanning Sequels, Revivals, and New IP

Nintendo Life reported that both Alien: Isolation 2 and Crazy Taxi: World Tour are scheduled for a Switch 2 release, though attendees at Gamescom will likely be playing PC or PlayStation 5 builds rather than the Switch 2 versions. The outlet opened its coverage with a playful nod to the sci-fi survival horror sequel: "It's Xenomorphin' time." :: Nintendo Life That line captures the excitement around Alien: Isolation 2, a game many fans have awaited for over a decade.

Sonic City added more titles to the list, including SONIC PICO PARK, which appears to be a new cooperative Sonic experience, and the crossover racing game Sonic CrossWorlds. Vgtimes.com highlighted Persona 4 Revival, a remaster or remake of the beloved RPG, as a major draw for the booth. The sheer variety shows Sega is leaning into both nostalgia and new concepts for its booth.

Nintendo Life also noted that Metaphor: ReFantazio will be playable on Switch 2 at Sega's booth, making it one of the few titles confirmed for the console itself during the event. While the exact demo builds remain unconfirmed, the lineup suggests Sega is betting big on Gamescom 2026 as a showcase for its multiplatform strategy.
