“The Psychological Challenges of High-Impact Work - please participate in our survey!” by spencerg

At Clearer Thinking, we're running a collaboration survey about the psychological challenges of various kinds related to working on high-impact problems (e.g., existential risk, AI safety, climate change, animal welfare, global health, bio/nuclear safety, and other topics), and what people find helpful in dealing with those challenges. We are interested in hearing from you whether you currently work on impact-focused problems like these, or no longer do but have done so in the past. We'll share what we learn with the community in the hopes that it will improve understanding and support for people doing this kind of work. Your responses are fully anonymous. You can do the survey in about 5 minutes (if you skip optional sections) or in about 10-15 minutes (if you respond to every question). Here's the link to participate: Thanks very much! --- First published: June 3rd, 2026 Source: --- Narrated by TYPE III AUDIO .
