You can grab a delicious meal and sit in the heart of Trafalgar Square as we celebrate our longest serving monarch. There’ll be something for everyone from good old English fish and chips to Indian curry, an Oz-style burger and even Caribbean jerk chicken. If that doesn’t wet your appetite, there are delicious sandwiches, cake and cups of PG Tips on offer in the Tea Tent. Oh and don’t forget that nice jug of Pimms or a Walls ice cream to top it all off! Before we go to the big screen for the BBC’s coverage of the royals on the Mall, there’s music and dance. We’ll be galloping through the styles and world influences of the last nine decades on stage. If watching doesn’t tire you out, you can go and try them out for yourself at the Big Dance Bus workshops on the North Terrace. You can also ‘have-a-go’ at the BT football challenge, learn some nifty cooking tips and taste the results with M&S. Why not send the kids for royal etiquette training in the children’s activity area? The Mayor of London’s Patron’s Lunch is part of the Mayor’s programme of free events. It is supported by Marks & Spencer , Unilever , Diageo and BT . The Mayor of London presents and supports many events to celebrate the cultures and communities of London.
