Open-source AI startup Reflection AI has signed a deal with SpaceX worth up to $6.3 billion to access Nvidia's latest GB300 AI chips at SpaceX's Colossus 2 data center near Memphis, Tennessee, according to twp.ai. The agreement, which runs from July 1, 2026 through 2029, will see Reflection pay $150 million per month for immediate access to the chips and supporting hardware.

This deal follows similar arrangements SpaceX has made with Anthropic and Google, though twp.ai noted this one is smaller in scale. The contract includes a provision allowing either party to terminate with 90 days' notice after the first three months.
Zerohedge reported that Reflection is an Nvidia-backed open-source AI startup, and the deal highlights that SpaceX's massive compute infrastructure is becoming a revenue-generating business beyond internal AI chatbot use. The news comes amid SpaceX shares declining for a third straight session, down about 9%, after the company announced plans to sell investment-grade bonds for the first time, according to zerohedge.

The arrangement underscores the growing demand for specialized AI computing power and the strategic value of SpaceX's data center assets in the competitive AI landscape.
