Sri Lankan shares closed lower for the seventh straight session on Wednesday, dragged by losses across sectors. The CSE All Share index settled down 0.61% at 21,828.50. SMB Finance PLC and Serendib Land PLC were the top percentage losers on the CSE All Share index, falling 33.3% and 13.8%, respectively. Trading volume on the CSE All Share index rose to 210.2 million shares from 57.7 million in the previous session. The equity market’s turnover rose to 2.26 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($6.74 million) from 1.54 billion rupees in the previous session, according to exchange data. Foreign investors were net sellers, offloading stocks worth 131 million rupees, while domestic investors were net buyers, purchasing shares worth 2.15 billion rupees, the data showed.
