New Delhi: Yum! Brands appointed Rishab Mukherjee as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for KFC South Asia, bringing in a marketer with over 16 years of experience at Procter & Gamble (P&G). Mukherjee announced his new role in a LinkedIn post and said, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Yum! Brands as Chief Marketing Officer, KFC South Asia!" Mukherjee joined Yum! Brands after a 16-year stint at P&G, where he held several leadership roles across Asia-Pacific markets. Most recently, he served as Commercial Leader (Beauty) and Head of Brand Function for Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. Before that, he was Regional CMO (Senior Brand Director) for P&G's haircare business across Japan and Korea, where he was responsible for brand health, innovation, commercialisation, and media. Before joining P&G in 2010, Mukherjee worked at digital agency Bray Leino Splash, where he managed digital marketing campaigns for clients across financial services, logistics, and the public sector. He also interned with Vodafone in India. An alumnus of Singapore Management University, Mukherjee graduated with degrees in Economics and Marketing and was recognised as the university's top senior student. He has also completed executive programmes in Competing in the Age of AI and Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
