NITARP: NASA/IPAC Teacher Archive Research Program Overview
NITARP (NASA/IPAC Teacher Archive Research Program) provides educators with hands-on experience in astronomical research at Caltech and the American Astronomical Society (AAS). Participants gain exposure to how scientific research operates, learn about the breadth of career opportunities in astronomy, and observe diversity and representation in the sciences. The program emphasizes immersive, in-person experiences that allow teachers to bring real-world scientific practices back to their students.
