Mantic Games and Halo Studios have announced Halo: Campaign Evolved, The Board Game, a 1, 2 player cooperative tabletop adaptation of the original Halo: Combat Evolved campaign. Both Polygon and Bleeding Cool reported the news, with the game set to launch on Gamefound in 2025 and head to retail in 2026.
According to Polygon, the board game features 11 scenarios spread across three acts, letting players take control of Master Chief and Cortana through iconic missions such as The Pillar of Autumn, The Silent Cartographer, and The Maw. It uses a streamlined version of Mantic's Halo: Flashpoint system and introduces a new AI deck to govern enemy behavior.

That structure should give longtime fans a familiar narrative arc while adapting the first-person shooter's action to a tabletop format.
Bleeding Cool noted that the game is designed for players ages 13 and older and is tied to the upcoming remastered version of the Halo title. The outlet described it as an effort to "bring the enhanced Halo experience to board game nights."

With a crowdfunding campaign due next year and a retail release following in 2026, the project offers a new way to revisit the story that started the franchise.
