Free Mario Tennis Fever Update Launches With Super Mario Galaxy Court and GameShare

Nintendo has rolled out a free version 1.1.0 update for Mario Tennis Fever on the Switch 2, adding a Super Mario Galaxy-themed court alongside new gameplay modes and balance tweaks. Nintendo Everything reported that the update is available now and includes the Galaxy Court, a Black Hole Racket, and a series of balance adjustments. NintendoSoup confirmed the free nature of the download and also noted the inclusion of the Galaxy Court.

The update introduces Galaxy Court Match, a new special match type, according to Nintendo Life. Players can also unlock new Luma colors, a classic Mario outfit, and the Black Hole Racket. Polygon reported that the update adds a Super Mario Galaxy-themed Fever Racket and GameShare support for local multiplayer via GameChat.
Gameloop.gg detailed that the 1.1.0 patch adds GameShare through GameChat, allowing local multiplayer without requiring each player to own a copy of the game. Overworld.vg compiled extensive patch notes, confirming the addition of GameShare and Play features alongside the Galaxy Court and Black Hole Racket.
Nintendo Life also noted a series of balance adjustments and bug fixes included in the update. Players can now access the full list of changes directly on their Switch 2 consoles. The update is available as a free download for all current owners of Mario Tennis Fever.
