Nu metal mainstays Limp Bizkit brought a dose of Canadian comedy to Ottawa Bluesfest on July 10, when Tom Green joined the band onstage for a rendition of their 2000 hit "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)." The performance, which took place in Ottawa, Ontario, saw the rapper-turned-actor and podcaster stepping in as a special guest for the track from "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water," as reported by both Theprp and Chaoszine.
"Daddy would you like some hot dog flavored water?"
Theprp's coverage opened with that classic Tom Green line, a nod to the comedian's signature bit that also echoes the album's title. Fred Durst introduced Green to the crowd, with Killbait noting that the comedian appeared "wearing denim overalls and a long grey beard." The visual callback to Green's early 2000s persona added a layer of nostalgia to the already throwback moment.
Beyond the guest appearance, Limp Bizkit used the set to pay tribute to their late bassist Sam Rivers, according to Killbait. The band has remained active on the festival circuit and released a new single in September 2025, underscoring what Killbait described as "Limp Bizkit's continued relevance."
Chaoszine credited Theprp as the original source for the news, which spread quickly among fans of both the band and the comedian. The collaboration served as a reminder of the cultural overlap between nu metal and early internet-era comedy, with Green having appeared in Limp Bizkit's music video for "Rollin'" itself back in 2000.
