Kent hospital becomes first NHS trust to deploy AI infection detection tool
East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust has become the first NHS trust in the UK to deploy an AI tool called MEMORI at Kent and Canterbury Hospital. The software analyzes clinical data such as blood tests, blood pressure, and temperature to generate individual infection risk levels for patients. Developed in collaboration with UK health tech company Sanome, the tool helps clinicians identify infections early and frees up nursing time for direct patient care.
