Jerry Vetterl

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Vetterl on December 6, 2025. Jerry was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and humor. He found his greatest joys in the outdoors, where he spent countless hours fishing, hunting, and golfing. Whether out on the water, in the woods, or on the course, Jerry was in his element, appreciating the simple pleasures that brought him peace and happiness. Above all, Jerry was devoted to his family. He cherished the time spent with his partner, children, grandchildren and siblings and his love for them was evident in all that he did. His family meant everything to him, and the memories they shared will be treasured forever. Known for his lively personality, Jerry was both incredibly silly and endearingly stubborn. He had a unique way of making people laugh and keeping things lighthearted, even in difficult moments. At the same time, his strong-willed nature was part of what made him who he was—determined, passionate, and unforgettable. Jerry is lovingly survived by his partner, children, grandchildren and siblings who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but remembered fondly for his laughter, his love, and the life he lived. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on July 20, 2026 at Camp River Hall, located at 50246 Camp River Rd. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honour the memory of a man who brought so much joy to those around him.
