Hasbro has announced a multi-year licensing partnership with Nintendo to produce a line of toys based on The Legend of Zelda franchise. The collaboration, first reported by NintendoEverything, will launch in 2027, with the initial wave of products including action figures and role-play items. According to Toy Habits, the press release via Business Wire confirmed that the first reveals will happen at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, which runs July 23 through July 26.

The centerpiece of the initial lineup will be three 6-inch-scale action figures, as reported by ToyNewsI, citing the official announcement. GameSpot noted that Hasbro has not yet shared any images or detailed descriptions of these figures. The timing of the deal, with a 2027 launch and a Comic-Con preview, has led some observers to speculate about a potential tie-in, as GameSpot wrote: "The 2027 timing for the deal, and the tie-in with Comic-Con, is leading some to believe that Hasbro's toyline will be focused on the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie."

Polygon reported that the partnership aims to bring Nintendo's iconic world of Hyrule to fans through Hasbro's action figures and role-play products. The Legend of Zelda franchise has long lacked a dedicated, large-scale action figure line from a major toymaker, making this announcement significant for collectors and enthusiasts. Hasbro is known for its 6-inch scale lines like Marvel Legends and Star Wars: The Black Series, so the Zelda figures are expected to follow a similar format, according to Toy Habits.

"This multi-year collaboration is set to bring Nintendo's iconic world of Hyrule to fans through Hasbro's action figures and role-play products," read the Business Wire statement, as quoted by ToyNewsI. The first official look at the figures will take place at San Diego Comic-Con this month, though Nintendo has not confirmed any plans for a Zelda movie trailer at the event, GameSpot added. Fans will have to wait until 2027 to actually purchase the toys, but the Comic-Con reveal should offer a glimpse of what's to come.
