At least two U.S. Army websites were defaced by hackers who replaced pages with messages attacking President Donald Trump and promoting pro-Kurdish media. According to TechCrunch, the Army has since fixed the compromised sites, which displayed content calling Trump a "pedophile" and a "thief."
TechRadar reported that the defacements also targeted U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye Tom Barrack alongside Trump. The hacked error pages showed material critical of both figures, mixed with pro-Kurdish propaganda.

The expletive-laden attack on Trump and Barrack was paired with pro-Kurdish media, dailykos noted, raising broader concerns about military cybersecurity. The incident highlights vulnerabilities in government web infrastructure, even on relatively low-profile sites.
Independent cybersecurity researcher Ronald Lovelace discovered the hack before the military was aware of it, according to dailykos. The quick fix by the Army suggests the breach was limited in scope, but the ease of defacement underscores ongoing challenges in securing public-facing military domains.
