Summary
Filmmaker Jorge Gutierrez (The Book of Life, Maya and the Three) has announced he is dropping out of a generative AI series for Amazon, just two days after it was announced at Amazon's AI on the Lot event. The Punky Duck series, which was to be a hybrid generative AI project, will no longer be made by Gutierrez. He apologized to those he upset and stated his intent was to showcase artists both inside and outside studios.
