B2K Drops First New Single 'Mileage' in Over 20 Years, Announces Fall Album 'Eclipse'

B2K has officially returned with new music. The platinum-selling R&B group consisting of Omarion, J-Boog, Lil Fizz and Raz-B released "Mileage," their first new single in more than two decades, marking a new chapter for the group. The song arrived through BPC Music Group as the lead release from "Eclipse," a studio album scheduled for this fall, according to Classicjoints.net.
The timing of the release was deliberate. "Mileage" arrived 25 years to the day after B2K released its debut single, "Uh Huh," on July 17, 2001, Classicjoints.net reported. Produced by Ethos, the track uses the experiences people carry into relationships as its central metaphor, the outlet added.
"B2K has spent the past year proving its reunion could survive a tour. On Friday, the group faced the harder test: whether it could build something new after audiences came back for the memories."
That tour, the sold-out Boys 4 Life Tour earlier in 2025, helped pave the way for the reunion, according to Soulbounce.com. The group also previewed "Mileage" during their VERZUZ battle against Pretty Ricky before officially dropping it, Soulbounce.com added.
"Mileage" is B2K's first original music together since their breakup in 2004, and Musicianvoice.com noted that this latest resurgence is by far the most substantial, with the group recording a new project. The Magazine of Hip Hop Music, Culture and Politics described B2K as "the platinum-selling, BET Award-winning R&B group" and confirmed that the single marks the beginning of a new era for the foursome.
All four members are fully involved in the comeback. Classicjoints.net reported that "Mileage" is their first newly recorded official single together in more than two decades. With an album titled "Eclipse" expected this fall, B2K is moving beyond nostalgia and attempting to build something lasting from their reunion momentum.
