The latest release enhances video editing, image creation, music production and productivity workflows, with updates rolling out to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor, Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform.Final Cut Pro adds AI editing featuresFinal Cut Pro receives several new AI driven capabilities aimed at reducing manual editing work. One of the headline additions is Generate Captions, which automatically transcribes spoken audio into subtitles directly on the timeline. Editors can customise the appearance of captions by adjusting fonts, colours, animations and positioning.Apple has also introduced Edit Detection, which analyses an exported video and reconstructs edit points on the timeline, making it easier to revisit completed projects or create shorter edits from existing content.Mac users gain additional tools including Auto Mask, which uses on device AI to identify subjects such as people, hair, clothing, skies and foliage for selective editing. Other Mac exclusive additions include an upgraded Match Color tool, Advanced Trimming and the ability to send frames directly to Pixelmator Pro for editing. Creator Themes with multiple aspect ratios, dynamic titles and customisable backgrounds have also been added.Pixelmator Pro becomes more deeply connectedApple has expanded Pixelmator Pro's role across its creative ecosystem following the company's acquisition of the image editing software.Users can now send frames from Final Cut Pro directly into Pixelmator Pro, edit thumbnails, posters or graphics, and return them to their projects without exporting files manually. The same workflow is available in Keynote, Pages and Numbers, where embedded images can be opened, edited and automatically synced back into documents.Pixelmator Pro also gains AI powered image generation, a new Content Hub offering premium graphics, illustrations and photos, and support for generating vector shapes using natural language. These shapes can be saved for future use across supported apps.Logic Pro expands music creation toolsLogic Pro has also been updated with improvements aimed at music producers. Apple said Chord ID has been rebuilt to recognise more complex harmonies, including inversions and extended chords, even when recordings are imperfect.The update introduces a new Producer Project built around Grammy Award winning producer Khris Riddick-Tynes' track "Shoulda Never", allowing users to explore the complete production session, including multitrack recordings, MIDI data and vocal takes.Alchemy receives a new granular sync mode alongside a dedicated Granular Alchemy Sound Pack, while Beat Breaker now includes additional filter modes, panning controls and randomisation options. The new granular sync mode is also available in MainStage.Motion, Compressor and productivity apps updatedMotion now supports resolution independent vector graphics and introduces Distribute Layers for animation workflows.Compressor adds an Immersive Metadata Viewer, support for Apple Vision Pro media workflows and stereoscopic preview improvements.Apple's productivity apps have also received updates. Keynote adds new presentation transitions, Pages introduces Auto-Hyphenate and Show Invisibles on iPhone and iPad, while Numbers now allows users to colour code or hide spreadsheet tabs. Freeform will also receive AI generated shapes, Pixelmator integration, Dark Mode, folders and Mac drawing support with iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27.Pricing and availabilityApple said the new Creator Studio features are available immediately as a free update for existing subscribers.The subscription is priced at ₹399 per month or ₹3,999 annually in India. Students and educators can subscribe for ₹199 per month or ₹1,999 per year. New users receive a one month free trial, while eligible new Mac and qualifying iPad purchases include three months of Creator Studio at no additional cost.Apple will also continue offering standalone purchases of Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor and MainStage through the App Store.
