Steven brothers sell Spangles chain to Hamideh family after 50 years in business
After 50 years in business, brothers Craig Steven Sr. and Dale Steven have sold the Spangles hamburger chain — a 26-restaurant Kansas institution known for its "It just tastes better" commercials — to the Hamideh family, who also own six Popeyes locations in Wichita. The sale price was undisclosed. The brothers cited a desire to enjoy life more as a key factor in their decision to sell now, after fielding interest from multiple potential buyers.
