Abbott appoints Shefali Singh as Head of Marketing

New Delhi: Abbott promoted Shefali Singh to Head of Marketing, marking a new leadership role for the marketer within the global healthcare company. Singh announced the development on LinkedIn, saying, "I'm happy to share that I'm starting a new position as Head of Marketing at Abbott!" She has been associated with Abbott for more than four years, most recently serving as Marketing Manager. Prior to that, she served as Group Product Manager, leading marketing initiatives across the company's portfolio. In her new role, Singh will head Abbott's marketing function. Before joining Abbott in 2022, Singh spent over four years at Alembic Pharmaceuticals, where she progressed through multiple leadership roles, including Assistant Product Manager, Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, and Group Product Manager in the company's Cardio-Diabeto division. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Product Executive at Mankind Pharma and also served as an Assistant Professor at Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions. Singh holds an MBA in Marketing from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). She also has a Master's degree in Pharmacology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from GLA University.
