Is any live linux USB "amnesiac" like Tails?

This previous discussion thread may be of use to you: Tails OS alternative for amnesia? I can’t confidently debate feature for feature, but I do know that Puppy Linux is a fairly popular distro offering both a live session and a live session with persistence options.
