Volvo begins deliveries of first EX60 models

Cupra launches cheaper Raval from €30,000
Cupra is introducing a more affordable variant of its electric compact car, the Raval. The Raval Plus, featuring a 99-kW electric motor and a 37-kWh battery, starts at €29,850 and can now be configured in Germany. The base variant announced at the world premiere for under €26,000 is still pending.
Volkswagen eyes three new electric models in China
According to certification applications, the Volkswagen Group is preparing to launch three new electric models in China. The battery-powered sedans ID. UNYX 09 and Jetta M6, as well as the electric SUV ID.Aura T6, are expected to hit the market this year. Two of the three EVs were developed in collaboration with Xpeng.
JLR switches charging service from Plugsurfing to DCS

Austria: Battery-electric car registrations reach parity with petrol vehicles
Austria reported 40,060 new battery-electric passenger cars in the first half of the year — 27 per cent more than in the same period last year. The share of pure electric cars among all new passenger car registrations thus reached 24.3 per cent in the first six months of the year — and is now just a hair’s breadth behind pure petrol cars.

Leapmotor launches first electric van in China
Leapmotor is launching its first van in China. The seven-seater D99 will be available as a pure electric model and as a range-extender vehicle, starting at a price equivalent to just over €32,000. It is not yet known whether the D99 will be offered outside China in future.
VW Board reportedly aims for plant closures starting in 2031
