EU Single Market and industrial policies at the heart of competitiveness and security

In his address at the opening of this year’s Hannover Messe, the Commission’s Executive Vice-President Stéphane Séjourné set the scene on Europe’s industrial policy: Today, we are in a context where every decision matters. The crisis in the Middle East has consequences for our economy and energy security. It reminds us: Europe can no longer just react. Europ
