Google Messages rolls out 'Tap to draft' to prevent accidental Smart Reply sends

Google Messages is rolling out a new "Tap to draft" feature for Smart Replies that prevents accidental message sends. Previously, tapping a Smart Reply would immediately send the message, causing some users to disable the feature entirely. With the new behavior, selecting a Smart
