SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Jean Grey Theory Changes Everything About MJ and Ned's Peter Parker Memories›via GeekTyrant

Sony has released the final trailer and a new set of demon posters for Insidious: Out of the Further, the latest installment in the horror franchise that has earned over $740 million at the global box office, according to Vital Thrills, Horror Society, and Bleeding Cool. The sixth film opens exclusively in theaters on August 21, 2026, with tickets already on sale, as reported by iHorror. NewsBytes framed the sequel as the franchise expanding its terrifying universe with another supernatural horror chapter. But iHorror suggests the marketing takes a different angle, noting the trailer is not selling another family stumbling into the spirit world. "It is selling the spirit world finding the door." The shift in framing puts the threat on the other side of the barrier, with the Further coming for the living rather than the other way around. The People's Movies sees a similar menace in the footage, warning that no one needs to step into the Further at all. "No need to step into The Further as the dead will rise amongst the..." That rising threat matches the final trailer's imagery and the new demon posters, which Horror Society noted arrive alongside news that the Motion Picture Association rated the film PG-13 for strong violent content, bloody images, terror and some strong language. Bleeding Cool added that Jacob Young directs from his own screenplay, with a story credited to Young and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, and that the cast includes Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea, and Lin Shaye reprising her role as Elise Rainer.
