Woman, 66, shot as nearby car passengers exchange gunfire in Englewood

A 66-year-old woman was shot Tuesday night while waiting for a ride in Englewood, according to Chicago police.
She was standing outside around 10 p.m. in the 800 block of West 59th Street when passengers in two passing vehicles exchanged gunfire, police said. She was struck in the chest and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
No one is in custody, police said.
