Starmer reveals Erdogan gifted NATO leaders personalized pistols and ammunition at Ankara summit
During a NATO summit in Ankara, Turkish President Erdogan gifted each attending leader a personalized pistol engraved with their name, along with ammunition. British PM Keir Starmer revealed this to journalists on his return flight to London, noting he left the weapon in Turkey because bringing it into the UK would be illegal. Erdogan also included a note exempting the pistols from export controls.
