Vayona Energy has commenced blade manufacturing operations at its Nellore facility in Andhra Pradesh. The latest announcement closely follows Vayona Energy's first deal in the Indian market with Oyster Renewable Energy Private Limited. In a press release, the company stated that this development builds on its plans to scale up its wind business in India, expand its manufacturing capacity, and enhance operational capabilities at the blade facility to support future growth. In the earstwhile deal Vayona Energy's secured an order to supply a 64.8 MW wind turbine project in the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh to Oyster Renewable Energy. This was an important collaboration following Vayona Energy's India entry following its acquisition of the business from Siemens Gamesa . The Nellore facility is poised to become a key manufacturing hub, supporting Vayona Energy's growth ambitions and advancing its technology roadmap. Vayona Energy's robust manufacturing footprint in India will enable the company to accelerate delivery timelines, strengthen supply chain resilience, and support India's transition towards sustainable energy solutions. Leadership View On the latest announcement, Prashant Jain, Executive Vice Chairman, Vayona Energy, said, "The expansion of the Nellore facility strengthens our manufacturing footprint and demonstrates our long-term commitment to building world-class, locally integrated capabilities in India." Adding to this, Pritesh Vinay, Chief Executive Officer, Vayona Energy, said, "The Nellore blade plant, together with our Mamandur nacelle facility, is a decisive step in building a fully integrated, world-class manufacturing base in India for current as well as next-generation products. This positions us to build a resilient, future-ready supply chain in India, meet growing customer demand with advanced technology products, while delivering speed, quality, and scale, and supporting our ambitions to serve export markets."
