Interim truce looks increasingly precarious as Iran carried out retaliatory strikes on US bases in Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait have come under renewed attack this morning as Iran continues its retaliatory strikes on US bases in the region. Bahrain – home to the US Navy’s 5th Fleet – Kuwait and Qatar all sounded sirens as air defence systems shot down incoming Iranian drones and missiles. There were no immediate reports of any damage.
