Trump Media & Technology Group has launched Truth API, a paid data feed that gives businesses real-time access to posts from Truth Social's top 10 trending accounts. The move marks the company's first foray into data licensing, according to KFGO, which reported the launch on July 16.

The API is aimed primarily at financial services firms, as reported by Axios. Interim CEO Kevin McGurn explained that companies have been scraping Truth Social data and repackaging it for institutional clients, which the new service formalizes for a fee. Axios noted that the API could be expanded to more accounts for customers willing to pay more.

The service offers faster push notifications than the free version, with President Trump's account the most followed at 12.9 million followers, according to Notus. This launch represents another instance of Trump blending his business interests with his political role, the outlet observed.

While the API currently covers only the top 10 accounts, the potential for tiered access suggests a broader commercial strategy. As KFGO reported, the feed provides real-time data, and Notus highlighted that the service sells quicker access to posts from influential accounts including Trump's. The move underscores how Trump Media is seeking to turn its platform's user data into a revenue stream, particularly from Wall Street clients eager for rapid insight into the former president's online activity.
