Summary
After authors and critics selected their top 100 novels, The Guardian asked readers to vote for their favorites. Over 3,000 readers from around the world (including Uruguay, the Isle of Skye, and beyond) cast their votes, resulting in a reader-curated list of the top 100 novels of all time. The list is topped by a new entry at number 1, and includes diverse selections ranging from Anthony Powell's "A Dance to the Music of Time" to Hanya Yanagihara's "A Little Life" and Anthony Doerr's "All the Light We Cannot See," with readers providing personal reflections on why each book resonated with them.
