The Thrifty Six in Fringe

For this month’s Thrifty Six theme, Nancy chose fringe. That automatically brings boho and festival outfits to mind. The fringed vest that I featured in the Summer Festival Capsule Wardrobe post would have fitted the bill perfectly, but it’s not preloved. I was starting to think I wouldn’t have anything appropriate…but then I remembered a couple of faux suede fringed jackets that I bought on Vinted a few years ago. I’ve worn the orange one before, but not this yellow cropped jacket. One of my favourite casual outfit formulas at the moment is jeans and a cropped jacket. I tend to wear barrel or balloon fit jeans, which work better with a shorter jacket. I’ve chosen a floral print blouse to complement the jacket and my new crossbody bag from Ollie & Nic*. The yellow sandals “bookend” the outfit with the jacket, contrasting against the dark denim. Jacket from Vinted
