The Bellevue Arts Museum was a launching pad for local artists, but no longer. The museum announced last week that it was closing effective immediately, leaving a hole in the area’s artistic landscape. Today, we talk about why and the concerning signs for other local arts organizations with the museum’s executive director Kate Casprowaik Scher and Seattle Times reporter Margo Vansynghel.
