Texas: Gov. Abbott launches probe into hospital advertising ‘birth packages’ for foreign nationals

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has launched an investigation into a Texas hospital accused of advertising “birth packages in South Texas” on billboards in Mexico that allegedly encouraged pregnant foreign nationals to travel to the United States to obtain citizenship for their children through so-called “birth tourism.”
