Systems Design Engineer

Job Description In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Understand functional requirements and implement options and rules in our product configurator platform Work with engineering and product management to develop the necessary design files for product configurators - PM, PPC, Lead time etc. Understand and control global product configurator design standards Develop, organize and execute testing cycles & fix identified issues Maintain configurator design files per engineering standards Trouble shoot any complex configurator support tickets per SLA & identify pro-active maintenance opportunities Seek feedback and continually improve product configurators from all functional stakeholders Create and contribute to configurator design documentation for the purposes of cross-functional reviews and approvals Who You Are: You quickly and decisively act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering with 7-10 years of total work experience (Valve Experience preferred) and 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 7 -10 years of any mechanical product experience, valves experience preferred 3- 5 years of experience in development and maintenance of Configurators, experience with Oracle OCD, SAP Variant Configurators, or Configit ACE preferred Experience as a product design engineer or application engineer Willing and able to travel to global Isolation Valve business locations as needed Our Culture & Commitment to You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
