Saur EnergySystems Design Engineersaurenergy.comJob Description In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Understand functional requirements and implement options and rules in our product configurator platform Work with engineering and product management to develop the necessary design files for product configurators - PM, PPC, Lead time etc. Understand and control global product configurator design standards Develop, organize and execute testing cycles & fix identified issues Maintain configurator design files per engineering standards Trouble shoot any complex configurator support tickets per SLA & identify pro-active maintenance opportunities Seek feedback and continually improve product configurators from all functional stakeholders Create and contribute to configurator design documentation for the purposes of cross-functional reviews and approvals Who You Are: You quickly and decisively act in constantly evolving, unexpected situations. You adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse partners. You always keep the end in sight; puts in extra effort to meet deadlines. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. You observe situational and group dynamics and select best-fit approach. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering with 7-10 years of total work experience (Valve Experience preferred) and 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 7 -10 years of any mechanical product experience, valves experience preferred 3- 5 years of experience in development and maintenance of Configurators, experience with Oracle OCD, SAP Variant Configurators, or Configit ACE preferred Experience as a product design engineer or application engineer Willing and able to travel to global Isolation Valve business locations as needed Our Culture & Commitment to You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
