Saving user names and passwords

MacRumorsSaving user names and passwordsmacrumors.comCasual user. I've noticed if I don't use my iPad Mini 7 for a while, my user names and passwords for web sites are gone and I have to re-enter. Though if I use it frequently for a few days/weeks the sign in info is there and saved. Why does that happen ? What am I doing wrong and how do I keep them saved even if I'm not using it for a while ?
