Capcom announced a remake of Resident Evil - Code: Veronica during the Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase. The game, titled Resident Evil Veronica, is set to launch in 2027. Originally released on the Dreamcast in 2000, it was one of the best-reviewed games for that system. An HD version called Resident Evil Code: Veronica X was previously released on Xbox 360 and made backwards compatible.
