Railways. Anybody here from the UK?

I am a railfan and have been since my first electric train back in prehistoric times. I was converting (rewriting) an ancient DOS simulator for model railroad signaling as an Xcode project for a fellow hobbyist and doing some virtual riding in the cab of locomotives via YouTube to see how RR signals have evolved over the years.
