Powertrac Group has received a 50 MW Distributed Renewable Energy Project order from Purshotam Profiles Pvt. Ltd. as an IPP developer under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Scheme with PGVCL, Gujarat. In a post, the company said it will execute the project on a project development basis. Scope of Work Under the scope of work, Powertrac Group is expected to provide a grid connectivity application, approval, and capacity reservation. It will also be responsible for undertaking Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) documentation and execution, along with land identification, procurement, due diligence, and overall project development. The bidder will also be responsible for carrying out the survey, design, Right of Way (RoW), and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the transmission line. Additionally, it will be required to obtain statutory approvals and undertake liaisoning with CEIG, GEDA, GETCO, SLDC, PGVCL, PWD, the Forest Department, and other government authorities. Additionally, Powertrac Group will deliver integrated renewable energy solutions from concept to commissioning and undertake the testing and commissioning of the solar power plant. Other activities include complete project management, regulatory compliance, and commercial operation. Previous Orders Under the DREBP Scheme Previously, Sunora Solar secured a 125 MW solar project order under the Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Procurement (DREBP) Scheme in Saurashtra, Gujarat, the company said in a release. The project is valued at ₹170 crore. Earlier, KPI Green Energy's subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, secured a 62.20 MW order to develop solar power projects. The latest order increased KPI Green Energy's total capacity under its Captive Power Producer (CPP) business segment to 152.34 MW. The company secured the order from multiple clients under the DREBP Policy, which is part of the Gujarat Renewable Energy Policy 2023 and the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission's (GERC) Tariff Orders No. 5 and 6 of 2024.
