Portugal’s SQUARE Festival Announces Open Call for Artists

The showcase festival returns to Braga and surrounding locations across northern Portugal next January Portugal's SQUARE Festival has opened applications for artists wishing to play at next January's festival. Artists of all genres, languages and formats are invited to apply via the festival's website. The deadline is 15 August. Afterwards, applications will be evaluated by the SQUARE programming team and the festival's programming partners. Successful applicants will be notified at the end of August, and the public announcement of the final lineup will take place in September. Selected artists will receive a €750 performance fee, along with meals, full technical support and shared backline.
