Jared Griener, a poker pro from Huntington Beach, says he was hogtied and robbed of his World Series of Poker winnings after returning to his Las Vegas rental, according to reports from TMZ and the Los Angeles Times. Griener cashed out his earnings from the tournament and then went back to the property where he was staying.

TMZ reported that Griener shared a screenshot on X detailing the alleged incident. The Los Angeles Times identified the rental as an Airbnb and provided further details on the attack.
"Two men tackled him inside his rental, stole his backpack containing his winnings, and left him bound. He eventually escaped and ran for help."
According to the Los Angeles Times, the two suspects assaulted Griener inside the Airbnb, took his backpack holding the winnings, and tied him up before fleeing. Griener managed to free himself and seek assistance.
