Pixelmator Pro brush engine issue

Today I've been testing Pixelmator Pro (Creative Studio version). It remains a great app for image editing and vector work, but in my experience, it has an issue with its brush engine on both Mac and iPad. This issue is significant enough that I can't recommend it for doing finer work (such as illustration and digital art) at the moment. I'd like to post this here to see if anyone else has the issue.
