A man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run Wednesday night near Maggie Daley Park.
The man was walking east in the 100 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive when a black vehicle ran a red light, struck him and fled the scene, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.
Area 3 detectives were investigating.
